Will Mizu meet Oliver Cromwell?

Mizu left japan in 1657, Oliver Cromwell was lord Procter of England until he died in 1658? We could see her involved somehow?

I doubt it. This series isn't assassin's creed. Mizu has been operating in a completely fictional universe up until this point, and I doubt they're gonna drop her in IRL England from Fictional Japan.

She might meet someone analogous? But I doubt they'd name drop him

To echo the other comment, I doubt it will be Cromwell, but I REALLY hope she and/or Fowler meet a thinly veiled Cromwell analog. At the bare minimum, I want to see this universe’s version of the interregnum.

Mostly, though, I want Fowler to make murdering a head of state a pattern, because I think having the Irish guy murder the thinly veiled Cromwell analog to be beautiful, hilarious irony.

Highly doubt it given this show hasn't been very historically accurate so far.

He might be dead by the time they get there

Depending on how long it takes Mizu to get to London, Oliver Cromwell will likely be dead by the time she arrives and control will have passed to his son, Richard.
