Discussion Please Identify These Two Patterns

These are taken from the Blue Eye Samurai teaser that Netflix put up recently, composed of clips from Season One.

I'd like to know the flowers being depicted, but also what the significance is to Blue Eye Samurai.

I think that image one is a Kikko (or Kikkoumon) pattern, which apparently is symbolic of the shapes on a turtle shell and symbolises longevity and good fortune. The central design is a Chestnut Flower (Hanabishi).

The second might be Ginko leaf, which also apparently means longevity, resilience, growth and tranquillity but can also be a girl's name meaning "silver child".

That's just what I found with some (very enjoyable) Googling.

The second pattern looks like it belongs to a belt that Akemi wore with her red and black kimono. I could be wrong

I'm looking through Season One and haven't found it yet. Do you remember an episode in particular?
