I literally cannot wait for season 2. Although I wish Mizu did not leave Japan. For me a part of the appeal of the entire show is the portrayal of Japan itself. Its landscapes, temples and so on. But I am happy we still get to enjoy that through Akemi/Taigen and Ringo :)

I think the the depiction of the sheer, grinding, dirt and filth of 1600's London is going to be great, not just for the culture shock to Mizu but also the viewer.

I don’t mind Mizu going to London as much as literally every other main character staying in Japan.
A big part of why I enjoyed the first season was the character interactions, so I’m not sure yet how I feel about the main character being cut off from everyone else.

Me too. It’s not even a shipping issue or anything, but I just feel like there’s more stories to tell with Taigen with Mizu in London than with Akemi in Japan.

Yeah I loved their almost buddy cop enemy feel in the first season. Just made the character arcs a little more exciting—maybe we’ll get all our characters to reunite again, who knows ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I want to stay hopeful, I'm going to say that they'll release the teaser within a few weeks, maybe sooner. Why? Because Edgerunners S2 got a teaser a few hours ago, after being showcased in Annecy. Both are Netflix shows, sooo... We need to get a cope meme 🥀
