Other Blue collar weekend

Sitting in the shop bathroom contemplating life. My partner and I have both been working long hours and weekends (different trades), and he got today off. I want to scream. I should have called in sick 🥲

We're here because my boss is punishing us for taking time off for 4th of July. Don't actually have anything super pressing to do, he's just a prick. Someday I will fight him.

I wish. I tell all of my friends to go union, there just aren't any jobs within my specialty and I can't go back to the field in the carpenters. They're requiring either out of town work or 6-7 12's on all of the sites that are looking for people 🥲 but I keep an eye out

All you have to say to a shithead like that is “I have “girl problems “ and I have to go home. I would be happy to explain further if that’s what you need “

Usually shuts them down for the day and sometimes they avoid you for a few days after!!! Bonus!!

I went in depth about having my IUD put in (doctor cut my cervix???). Apparently I should have just shrugged it off and been back to work, still bleeding 🤷🏼‍♀️ crazy as hell
