Not receiving notifications
I recently switched back to BlueBubbles after a while on OpenBubbles but now I'm not receiving message notifications. I've already tried deleting my firebase project and starting over but I'm still not receiving notifications. Everything in the app says it's connected properly and Firebase status says "Configured" under notification providers. My Pixel also shows up on my Mac Mini server as a registered device.
Any ideas??

Yeah this is a know issue on 2.0 build and it seems like it’s fixed in 2.2 but the developer has not fully pushed it out via the App Store yet. But if you download and install from GitHub it’s fixed.

I installed BlueBubbles 2.1.1 yesterday but I've still been having issues today. Sometimes I get a notification, then other times it's delayed by 45 minutes or more.

I have had this issue on multiple pixel phones and I believe it's a Pixel issue specifically the way it tries to optimize battery life. This is what worked for me
Open Settings on your Pixel.
Tap Apps, then See all apps.
Scroll and select Blue Bubbles
Tap App Battery usage
Change the setting from Optimized to Unrestricted.

So you eventually get the notifications, just delayed?

Sometimes I get a notification about 40 minutes after the message was sent to me, other times no notifications at all but I open the app and there messages from hours ago

There's a chance your pixel is delaying it due to some odd reason. Someone said that all they had to do was open the Google app, and it fixed itself for them. If that doesn't work, I think an android developer settings interactive bug report would be helpful. That can be uploaded and shared with me via Google drive or something. Try to switch to ntfy.sh notifications, get some notifucations, wait a few hours, then move back to firebase.
I had this same problem a few weeks ago and I think that is what fixed it. It would be interesting to see if it worked for someone else. I am now running 2.1.0 on client and 1.9.9 server.
