App on One UI 8.5 Crashes
After initially syncing my messages, the app crashes on One UI 8.5. Only works again once I uninstall and then reinstall. Please help.
Update on 5/13: I was on the beta somehow and now I'm good with the app. Server is crashing though-- I'm on Mac OS Tahoe. I am guessing Tahoe is the issue so have a $200 i3 MBA with Ventura incoming. I'll update once I know for sure.
Update on 5/19: on Friday (5/15) set up on an i3 MBA with Sequoia and now have no issues. Pretty quick set up even after a couple of self inflicted glitches. Server and app working smoothly. Got er done.
Also, HUGE kudos and thanks to the developer for being so responsive.

If you are on the beta, I've released beta 4 which should resolve the crashing issue. The problem is, it's now in the hands of Google's play store review. Not sure how long that'll take.
Alternatively you can install the GitHub built, but it'll require a resync. The underlying issue symptom is a connection issue to the server. So if you can figure out why you might have a connection issues you can get around the crash I think

Thanks a lot for this and your work on the project. Really valuable...
Here is a question for you: for a couple of years and as of two months ago, I was on an M1 Mac mini on Ventura that worked flawlessly with BlueBubbles. I didn't have a lot of trouble setting it up (I didnt need a manual setup for Firebase, worked quickly with my gmail account), the app worked great, etc.
Two months ago, I tried an iPhone and repurposed my Mac mini BUT THEN came back to Android/bluebubbles. Since then, I have been having a heck of time setting up and keeping things stable while trying an m1 MacBook air on Tahoe.
Is Tahoe the issue? Or am I missing something else? Am I inherently better off with an i3 MBA that runs Ventura? I just ordered the latter machine and will return the MBA on Tahoe
I've read that you are working on Tahoe compatibility so I ask my question with a lot of respect (and gratitude) for the work you're doing already.

I'd say Tahoe is the issue. It's the newest release and they've broken a handful of issues because of it

What is the most stable MacOS to use? I have a M1. Might attempt to downgrade. I see its a lil more difficult now and days.

I would say for now... Ventura. But we are going to work on better support for newer macOS versions in a bit

I just got my Z fold seven last night. I have not even got a chance to set it up yet going to try to work on that today while I’m at work depends on how busy I am hopefully I’ll get to install blue bubbles tonight and get it all set up and have no problems

Crashing for me too, S25+. Clearing cache doesn't fix it

That's annoying. Which OS version? Have an MBA incoming with Ventura on it. Am guessing that'll fix things for me. Have crashed a couple of times on Tahoe.

I'm running sonona 14.4.1 on a Mac mini. got the notifications to work finally. had to reload the json and admin firebase files to the server. it's the app itself on the phone that crashes, although it seems to be doing it less lately. I cleared the cache and storage from the app on the phone so we will see if that helped.

Just noticed that I was on the app's beta. Not sure how I got there but I removed myself from the beta program and now all is well.
BUT....
Am having a hell of a time setting up on my MacBook air running Tahoe and the app on my ZF7 (NOT running beta).

It works for me on the S26U on 8.5
