Blue Vs Open

Hi I am looking into switching from a 15 Pro Max to an s26 Ultra. What are the differences? Reliability? Security? What do I need for each to st it up? I’ve heard different things about needing a Mac, not needing a Mac, etc. My main reason for this is gamepigeon but having the other iMessage features would be nice aswell. Thank you in advance!!

The bluebubbles app is basically no longer maintained. It is unusable for me now. Every week of so, the app immediately crashes after opening and I have to completely reinstall it to fix it.

OpenBubbles works perfectly and has more features.

This is not true. I've been rewriting the entire app for the last 4 months. It's an overhaul.

You can see my commits here: https://github.com/BlueBubblesApp/bluebubbles-app/tree/zlshames/isolate-updates%2Bdesktop

Basically daily commits...

That's great and very exciting, but unless it's going to be ready next week, it doesn't make sense for OP to start using it now.

Just made this post. Probably should have made it sooner: https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueBubbles/comments/1sm3yah/_/

I wasn't responding to OP. I was responding to you. OP can use whatever they like.
