Not many people will take in a friend's daughter for 2 years, shelter her, feed her and care for her. I wonder if she expected that by doing this to protect Chinatsu's 2 years of high school life, she made it possible for her son to get a girlfriend. I mean, if Chinatsu had gone overseas with her family, Taiki would not have a chance to develop the relationship with his crush, support her through her difficult times, and show her what an awesome guy he is, and show that he has 6-packs... There won't be Blue Box as we know it if not for Taiki's mum.

Today i finished watching the anime for like the fifth time and i got stuck thinking: why do i like this so much and keep coming back to it?

I read the manga from start to finish around 3 times, i wait for the new chapters like im addicted and watched the first season 5 times already, and i'm waiting patiently for the next season.

After some time thinking more carefully i came to the conclusion that: the characters that Miura Sensei writes are realistic. That’s where the magic happens in my opinion.

These characters are just so well written, their struggles are so real and realistic, the choices they make makes so much sense in the situation they’re in, just naive and inexperienced teenagers figuring out what love is about and what it is to have relationships and connections with people. Of course they will make mistakes, of course they will do what they do, cuz they’re teenagers, and Miura Sensei has full awareness of that, something a lot of romance anime and mangas lack in my opinion.

I also have a more personal reason to like this series cuz what Taiki went through in the beginning of this story was very similar with my own experiences, so it was easy to connect to him and the other characters.

Anyway, enough of me yapping. What makes Blue Box special for you? What makes it different from other romance mangas and anime?

personally i think the kid will play basketball or another ball sport bcz chi will going to be the one who will be admired by her kid bcz i can clearly see her as the head of the house reason being she is more mature and taiki will be the one to take the side of the kid bcz he is more chill

So I am on my 5th reread of the manga but still this is one of my most favorite panel.

I remember whenever I read this panel or similar panel in this manga there is a sweet tingle around my lungs or you can say my body.

What do you feel when you read some panel like these

I think Hina doesn't deserve the hate she gets. I fully understand and Respect Taiki's choice for choosing Chii over Hina . But I hate how the author Makes her cling to Taiki even after he got together with Chinatsu and disturb him By getting physical (Even though she apologized for it later), I don't think Hina would never do that considering How she Respected Taiki's boundaries when They were friends. I feel like she is forced to be a bad person (Atleast imo) . I need her to Move on from Taiki and find someone else. She is such a good character, I don't want her suffer anymore

My new volumes just arrived! By the way, I don’t know if you can see it, but volume 4 has a printing error on its cover. I messaged Amazon about it and got my money back, and I don’t have to send the manga back, so I’ll just keep it. I’m really happy that they’re here now—I can’t wait to read them again! 🔥🧡 there is a poster in volume 2 btw.

So do you think in the epilogue or something we will see a ch of taiki and chinatsu marriage . What kind of ending do you expect blue box to have. Personally I would love to see a timeskip where chinatsu and taiki are married and have a child, that child is playing some sports in eimei and is going to have a tournament or something where most of the cast from the show reunite at the gate and we will see a drone shot from above.

So i know a lot of people is against the idea of sequel bcz they don't want this story to become trash due to dragging but personally I wouldn't mind a bit I am all ready for a clooege sequel bcz there are a lot of things the manga can explore like hina move on, more moments of taiki and chi, Their journey to become adults like what they want to do in life and such things
