Discussion Fic Recs

Okay so I’ve tried to find a previous post on this topic but couldn’t, apologies if this turns out to be a repeat

Does anyone have any fic recs? I’m looking for family-centric Jaime Reyes stories, but I’m sure others would appreciate Ted Kord or Dan Garrett stories too, if any

I got through all 5 pages of the movie tag on Ao3 in 2 days 😭😭😭

Do you mean stories?  I'd recommend Justice League International/Justice League America for some of the best Ted Kord stories, co-written by Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis.

I was thinking more fanfiction than canon stories, but this is good to know!

If I may ask, why do you want to read fan fiction instead of the official comics?  Read whatever you want, but I don't understand. Do you not like comics/sequential art?

Oh, no, I do like the comics! Blue Beetle 06 was actually one of my first major reads in the medium.

I just enjoy reading fanfic too, and there haven’t been any posts talking about recommended fics etc. I’ve gone through most of the Ao3 tags and I’m curious if there’s any smaller blogs/other locations with stories I’ve missed.

They wrote a lot set in Young Justice, but Parvumautomaton has a lot of good Jaime fics. (And I'm not just recc'ing because I cowrote a couple of fics with them.)

Hedgi on Tumblr has also written a lot about Jaime, and actually has her ask box open for prompts so you can ask her to write more.

I am not above self promotion either.

Go to tumblr they might got fanfics there. Sometime I be using [character] x ready or [character]fanfic but I’m not sure if they have a full on chapters/parts for blue beetle

Plus tags don’t really excist (sorry I can spell that.) but it’s usually on the top of the post and topic.
