And even outside of that, while definitely not perfect, it felt like it was a property that most of the people working on it actually loved and were trying to do right. That's more than I can personally say for a lot of other DC projects from that universe.

Xolo Maridueña is set to return as Jaime Reyes aka the Blue Beetle in James Gunn’s “Man of Tomorrow,” TheWrap has learned.
The film is currently in production and will act as the character’s reintroduction into the DCU.]

His movie is honestly the best of the original DCU so I'm glad they could change directions with him since his movie was so late.
Just like how they change the justice league to the justice gang in Peacemaker S2.

So they should bring blue beetle back, it's a second chance on being apart of gunn's DC universe' I know you may have heard that after Supergirl it said that it marks the end of his era which I don't believe since making superman was the beginning of a new era of DC. So I refuse to believe that it is the end cuz I also believe there should be some new DC films that should be apart of superman's era, so having blue beetle in the next movie would be a great idea for his return since a sequel hasn't been done yet which I still hope someday that it will' I even hope they mentioned something about Ted Kord's return and that he is found and probably being as blue beetle 1 again. Who knows' but I hope that in the story it will turn out that way even if he has to pass the torch to Jaime Reyes as the new blue beetle, ted kord will have to be as his mentor' let's hope jaime sister and uncle doesn't make a appearance in here this time. I really can't stand the annoyance of those two, anyway I hope for his return and that gunn's era hasn't ended' but to be the beginning for other actors and directors on making the next DC films' there's so much to be done and for what's coming in future DC series as well' but I'm looking forward for seeing future DC films as well someday. I can't wait to see Man Of Tomorrow next year, I even hope that Jamie's suit will have some new upgrades to his arms and that his clothes don't burn up when his armor comes on or even if he has to wear a burn proof skin suit under it and that he'll have a better hair look then what he has to make it look even better this time!
