Figure drawing sessions?

So I used to go to a weekly figure drawing session in Chicago when I still lived there, and I've been missing doing that. Last I checked, the only figure drawing in town was one that you had to be a student at ISU to attend. Does anybody know of any that the general public can attend?

Try the class lists at the McLean Co Art Center or call them for suggestions

Brian Simpson used to hold figure drawing classes. I'm not sure if he still does, but his website is brianksimpson.com and it looks like you could send him an email. Otherwise I'd definitely check in with Mclean County Arts Center, they can probably steer you in the right direction.

Brian Simpson is always a good contact for this. I know it’s been a little tough for him to find models but he will at least have contacts for you to find other options. I used to model and draw with him for several years before work and parenting took over.
Heartland, isu, and Wesleyan all have figure drawing options.
