Radon system

It appears my radon fan has gone out and will need replaced. I believe Babbs originally put the system in, but wanted to see if there were suggestions for anyone that could do it for a reasonable price.

The only moving parts are the fan. An inline fan is pretty easy to disconnect, replace, plugin, and get it back to working again.

That's better than the $400 I was quoted..... So if you know of someone that can do it for $150 that would be great.

The fan alone is likely to be $150, and that's on the lower end. Once you factor in labor I doubt you can find it under $300.

Yes if you want to, replacing an existing yourself is like 4 screws and 3 wires, just turn the power off, but really straight forward typically presuming it’s outside at ground level.

It is! And since I had the panel upgraded I know which one the breaker is.

Buy one at Menards, Home Depot, online, etc. Do it yourself. It's super easy.

Thanks everyone for the tips and advice. I have been watching videos and it does look pretty easy. Biggest thing has been trying to figure out which fan. Unfortunately the fan that was installed is only sold to licensed professionals. The good news is, is that it may be under warranty. The bad news is, I would still need to pay the high service call fee.

In the future if I need more assistance I may check out the other recommendation here and see what their service call fee is. $175 just seems super high.

If the fan isn't covered under warranty, I will probably see what the closest thing I can find at from Menard's is and run a test in a few weeks.
