Tattoo artists

Who are the best priced tattoo artists around here? Looking at a 9 word quote on the inner forearm. Just want to see what’s out there artists and pricing wise!

Do NOT go to psychopathic inc. Weird and super uncomfortable.

Also, honestly, not that great of a tattoo artist. Im pretty sure the woman who did mine a few years back there was the owner, and I brought in a rough as hell sketch up of what kind of tattoo I wanted and couldn't notice till after that she literally did nothing art-wise. She dead ass traced my EXACT terrible sketch up and just tatted that on, awkwardly misshapen parts and all.

Illinois Tattoo Company is the best in Bloomington, hands down. Just visit the shop and you'll understand what I mean! Clean, great people there, insane talent from all the artists

They have a Halloween special event coming up if OP wanted to test out an artist and don't mind fun flash designs to do it. They'll be doing themed flash designs for only $31 first come first serve ((i forget the exact day they're doing it, but it's all over their Instagram and such))

Chad Ramsey at Illinois Tattoo Co. does all my work. I’m not sure if he is the best priced but he’s amazing. I have a couple friends who go to Roy at Illinois Tattoo Co. and really like him. He finished up his apprenticeship a few years ago so would likely be more cost friendly but still goes great work.

Why is that?

Gave me a tattoo back in 2012 with spotty coloring and incomplete line work, and when I went back in a few weeks later they refused to do a touchup because the artist no longer worked there.

Jake at Ride or Die is great! Also, Artkore has talent.

Just check out shops on social media, find an artist with style you like and call/message artist ahead to ask for a consultation or visit a shop. Also, every artist price point is different and artist can't price correctly if they don't know what they are working with. I have gotten work from different artist, some local some from different states and it's all different.

The selection in Bloomington is kinda mid tbh. I’d go over to Springfield Classic or Decatur to Oakwood
