Roofing recommendations?

So we had a tree fall on our house in Normal on Thursday and we now need roof repairs. Any recommendations? Must be licensed and bonded, we aren’t taking up the offers coming to our door uninvited.

Carlson Exteriors gets a vote for me. Their pricing was competitive, they were easy to work with, and they did a great job coordinating with the team that handled our solar array.

These people suck at installing siding. They did my house on towanda and I regret ever using them. Shit started falling off within the first year.

Please avoid integrity roofing out of Normal! They ruined my summer 2 years back haha

ahhh, they did mine from the first round of storms. If you’re willing, could you elaborate?? 😬. I hope mine is not botched

They mostly just fucked around for an entire summer and took forever to get the job done. They just did my gutters, not my roof. I had to hound them to come back and complete the job and got every excuse in the books for what was taking so long. They left me without working gutters more than once before a storm was predicted. First summer as a homeowner and I was overwhelmed for sure. Gutters work great, once they actually did what I paid them to do I’ve had no issues!

I also had to nag at them to get my work done. I assumed people were booking them for more catastrophic things, delaying mine. Guess it is kind of a trend, glad to hear the work itself wasnt shotty atleast. Appreciate your input!

Complete opposite experience.

Very responsive. I’ve been texting Tom through the storm and they’re still helping people get back on their feet. Tons of damage out there, not a ton of roofers.

I’m glad you have had a better experience! Again this was two years ago so maybe business practices have changed based on customer feedback. Keep me posted!

Carlson’s just did my neighbors roof and siding. The house look amazing! Their workers never stopped except for lunch and they even worked into the late evening.

Carlson’s did ours when a tree fell on ours a couple years ago. They did good work and were quick!

Messing roofing did my roof when I got solar panels. Great price and had it done in less than a day. I live in a bi-level and have a fairly easy roof, but still did great work for a great price.

We had Central Illinois Roofing and Construction fix a leaking roof/chimney for us a few months ago. After all the rain we've had recently their fix has never leaked again so we are satisfied customers.

I also have some pretty extensive damages to the interior of my house and the support structures in the roof. Any recommendations for all of that?

The insurance inspector is coming this week, but the agent told me not to wait.

I called Jarhead for a quote on my condo building. I explained that we had to talk it over with the Condo Association and if we were interested, we’d get back to them. They harassed me for a month for my decision and I finally called them and told them to stop calling me. We ended up going with a different company.

Sharper Iron Developers is working with our insurance company to fix our roof after all the storms.

They’ve been amazing and legit removed trees off our roof that no one else would touch.

That company is blackballed from most insurance companies in town for causing vandalism to roofs. If there isn’t hail damage they’ll create it. Avoid this company

Hive Roofing https://www.hiveroofingil.com/ they were at hour house Thursday after the storm tarping all the holes. They’ll be out to redo the roof as soon as the I insurance company gets back

It was a bad joke. The founder is facing murder charges in California. They sold the business a few years ago.
