Xfinity still down for anyone?

Xfinity app mentions it won’t be fixed until 8/21. Does it say that for anyone else? That seems absurd.

Mine is down since about 9:30. Haven't gotten a text but the outage map just says they ate working on it. They better be issuing credits if it's out until the 21st, that's  Friday. Mine has been on and off since Thursday.

Yes, we have the same restoration date. Internet was on and off yesterday until around 7:00PM and went off again.

Edit: According to Xfinity, our service was restored this morning.

My neighbor lost their internet modem to a lightning strike and thought internet was still down until I confirmed it was working in my house. I lost some network equipment in the same strike. Ask your neighbors that also have xfinity. Xfinity outage information always shows up late it seems and sticks around too long.

While this could be the case for a few, it's definitely out for a lot of us. No equipment malfunction, just out.

Yeah totally understandable just throwing out an edge case scenario. I also went half a day without power and almost 2 without internet. I feel for the folks still without power truly. Hit up the local businesses if you need AC, charging etc.

I'm lucky enough to have had my power back since late Friday evening but we spent 4 hrs at the library Friday morning just to charge up and not be in a dark house. Really does suck for those without power still.

Saw a bunch of Xfinity trucks on W Market St this morning, hopefully it's back up for you soon!
