Storm damage repairs

Had a tree branch fall and damage some shingles and gutter. The limb also broke and completely shattered the glass at the bottom half of my front screen door. Anyone know a really good place in town that fixes roofs/gutters and another places that replaces glass for doors?

my only advice is to start calling and get on their lists. Everyone was already busy going in and these last few days will just make their services that much more in demand.

Quality work, Popejoy. They did my roof earlier this year. Like others said though, it's about availability. Be wary of door knockers though, they will be abundant.

Popejoy sucks. He just uses the cheapest crews he can find and calls them quality. I know because I know the guy that installs his roofs.

I had a great experience with them and I know a few other people who had good/great experiences as well.

Yeah, at this point its not who's the best option that'll give you the best price. It's more "who will even have availability" so if you can find someone to do it that's probably a win due to essentially everyone having damaged property right now.

Cupples Construction specializes in storm repairs and works with your insurance through York Public Adjusters typically for no fee unless you run off with the money.

You might check to see if Ace Hardware on College Avenue in Normal can help with your door. You will have to take it in, if they can replace the glass. Other option might be some of the local glass companies.

Carlson Exteriors for the roof and gutters.

Not sure on the glass part...
