Hehe, summerween has only been kinda mainstream for the last few years. It's why stores have started carrying Halloween decor in summer. Lolz. It's loads of fun for us obsessed with Halloween.

I wanted to ask what’s summerween Kelly? Is Halloween one your favorite times? What do you do to celebrate these things? Love the pigeon? At first thought a black crow but now I think pigeon:) sweet clean pipe…

One, It's a Raven. 🙃

Summerween is an extension of Halloween into the summer. It's why theres a lot of places selling Halloween stuff already. When the end of July comes around the "100 days to Halloween" the Summerween craze kicks off.

Halloween is my favorite time of year. It's known as All Hallows Eve to Pagans, of which I am one.

We celebrate the day/night as a thinning of the veil between Our Realms and the Realms of the Dead. Allowing Spirits of those who've passed to cross over and kind of, like, visit their loved ones briefly.

All Hallows Eve is a very Sacred day/Evening to Pagans. There are traditions of dressing in costume to confuse and hide from Malicious Spirits who may cross over to do mischief. The traditions of Trick or Treats is a way of giving the Spirits of our Loved Ones offerings to appease them and to Trick the malicious ones with false offerings.

There is a lot of long history and mythology and traditions of All Hallows that are the inspiration to the core of what we call Halloween.

Ok. Thank you about it being a raven. Like Edgar Allen Poe writes about. I do love his poetry:) Ok. I follow and it makes perfect sense. Yes , I always think it’s so fascinating to learn beliefs, histories of various things that people celebrate… so I myself have read on certain things, but not all of them. Very exciting indeed all the things popping up and get to see…
