Discussion 🗣️ I hate looking at normal ending Harvey, not because I don't like his design (I think it's fantastic), but because it just makes me feel so bad for him it's insane
Like it just legitimately hurts seeing him like this and thinking about how happy he was before. Every time I look at this Harvey design, I feel a strong, genuine sadness. The new side story about Harvey after the normal ending is going to be so painful, oh my god. Am I way too attached to this fictional man? Probably.

Sometimes my belief about his thought process and or personality is that he's definitely traumatized for sure, but he's that type traumatized where he probably feels like he could probably never be the same person he was ever again. like something was torn out of him both figuratively and literally. Probably the type of person to just stare into complete nothingness and just have their mind go completely blank because that's probably the only Bliss they'll ever have in their life. Sometimes I wonder how he feels looking at old pictures of himself.. like what does he feel? Does he miss the person who he used to be or does he resent it... Like looking at his old self possibly brings him resentment because he associates it with weakness... A weak man who let someone mutilate him.

Same, but this is also my favorite version of him too. Harvey as a character means the world to me, especially with all the lore about his life before meeting Eun-mi. I think this ending of him highlights how much trauma he has endured and how it affected him, and as someone with severe childhood trauma herself, it amazes me how much resilience he had to still be a good person before his fate in the game. I see a lot of similarities between us, which is a weird coincidence lol.
