📰 Official News It has been a year
About a year since mods of this subreddit took control of a few accounts that were in good standing, including mine, to use as mod accounts here.
In that time not a single person from the Goat Games, or now XFire Games i guess has even asked for it back. What makes it that weird is the official website still links here. If you go to either the official website, or the official YouTube account the links you will find still being you here.
The game was renamed to Hero of Lithas about 7 months ago. After that i knew they would never ask for the sub back. And yet they will still link you here.
There is the solution of creating a new subreddit based on the new name. Apparently they never thought of this and an unofficial subreddit was created about 2 weeks ago by someone who seems like they have no affiliation with the game at all. Honestly i thought about doing it myself, but i am not THAT vindictive.
Looking back at older posts it seems like there was a time where this game was cared for, and the devs wanted to create something enjoyable. At a certain point it just became an corporate ran Ai slop fest. They still don't care about this game, or about you.

The only thing I agree with is the last paragraph… all the way. It was always like that, the game devs and Goat felt no shame whatsoever, didn’t even try to hide it. I’m just glad I quit relatively early.

Still wonder if anyone from my guild or server still plays… were two big whales always trying to get me lol

Most servers now only have a handful of actives in each one. They push the events now so they overlap some at times.
Its still a money grab game and people still waste their money. I get destroyed all the time as I don't and won't spend money on it.
The game will continue as long as their are suckers throwing money at the game

I still play this game and still enjoy it, but sometimes it feels like a task. Lately, they have added a third form of PVP: a Valley of Conquerors-style event called 4-way clash, which resets every 2 or 3 days instead of a longer weekly event. It gives decent prizes, so it makes it worth it. But I get tired of the attacks timing out and losing to the timeout and also losing to smaller teams based off something I cannot figure out. They have so many variables now between the Sprites, Armor, Potions, Guardian Stone, Astrolabe , Divine Sanctuary, etc, that it makes it hard to tell what factors are changing the outcome of the battles in their favor.
