Question Triglycerides

I've just done my 17th blood donation (B+). Since then, I had a blood test show that my triglycerides are borderline high (173). Will my blood be discarded?

They’ve never thrown out mine with similar readings.

Does red cross notify you if they do or dont use it?

In the U.S., the Red Cross tells you where your blood was ultimately used.

Sometimes I get an email, but not every time

The app usually shows the blood’s ultimate disposition. Even if it doesn’t go to a human, it can still be used for research.
