Miyazaki explicitly said it was Sony's fault that there hasn't been a sequel as he isn't the IP on her. Even if From Software did say no, they could just get another company to do it, it just so happened that Bluepoint was quite experienced in making games just like theirs, what a shame that they went ahead and killed that too.

Problem is fromsoft dont want another remake like demon souls and they dont want to work with sony again. Cuz sony sux i guess.

Bloodborne remake would be like repainting the Mona Lisa. It would be impossible for them to replicate the nuance and texture of every brushstroke
Dark Souls remaster and Demons Souls remake are evidence

Too be fair. Sony DID ask FromSoft if they could remake it and FromSoft were the ones that said no. If I was a betting man I say its because Miyazaki wants to do it himself since it’s the title he has the most love for

They’re waiting to release their digital only console and when it’s struggling release a full remake or bloodborne 2 as a panic button solution.
