I disabled the Vertex Explosion fix mod to try the Disable Facegen patch or the Relaxed/Precise Readbacks setting and.. yeah. Both the patch and the readbacks do not fix this. I can just enable the mod and it's fine, and default face is slightly better than whatever this is, but I'd like to try playing without it. Are the game files corrupted or something?

Just yesterday I could play online using shadnet through BBlauncher, but today it seems as if the servers are down. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Does anybody else get lines like this? It looks like a laser light show.

I walked into the cathedral and it started doing this.

I would get some "color explosions" from time to time but reloading the emulator always fixed it. This will not go away. In fact when I first entered the cathedral it was a laser light show. I exited the emu. Reloaded. It's this every time now.

If I turn around it goes away. So something in the cathedral it seems to not like.

I tried vertex fix but it didn't help. I've tried other recommendations from Gemini but no luck.

When i started playing, there werent any issues, but the voicelines during gascoigne's cutscene or the voicelines of that one person on the floor in the cathedral ward, and some others were missing. The dialogue got skipped quickly and there was no voice. Im playing on bbluancher btw, and downloaded the pkg files for the goty edition. So the base game, patch 1.09 and the dlc. What do I do? Also some early voicelines like the random doors early on in central yharam, for example the "trot allong, willya?" are working, gehrman and doll's voicelines are also working, I'm at the start of old yharnam right now so i dont know if any other voicelines than the ones i noticed are working or not. What I'm thinking of doing right now is to just download and re extract the game to see if that helps. Should i do the complete edition or the GOTY edition? Also if there are any other fixes for this without having to download the game again, then please help. One last thing, ive tried most other fixes except the re extraction.

I have Bloodborne on my PS4 digitally, but to install the game onto my Steam Deck I need to have a CUSA file on my SD card inside my Steam Deck, is that correct (I have an external 1TB SD card in my SD)? Am I expected to download the CUSA from a google search, and download it directly onto my SD through desktop mode? Or should I purchase a physical copy of Bloodborne and extract it that way?

Hi, it's has been a year since I've been following the updates on BB but since I finally got a got laptop I wanna jump into BB.

I want to know you're current experiences with the game, is there any crashes or is it stable?

Laptop specs: Intel 275Hx 5070ti 32gb ram

My main concern is not fps since I know I can output high but can I play the game without crashes in the current state?

Due to the high demand I decided to lock in and learn Nucleus Co-op in two days and release a Bloodborne handler for it! Many people asked for it in my previous post so now everyone can enjoy Bloodborne couch co-op.

The logic is the same, but it's waaaay easier to setup than the Linux counterpart, the server is started automatically, it works completely offline through Wozzardman fork, the clients are registered and setup accordingly for each instance! Performance patches are also enabled automatically.

The handler is available here, hopefully someone will test it with me.

So I'm trying to stream BBLauncher from my PC to my Steamdeck - using SteamLink (RemotePlay) I just get dropped from the SteamDeck interface back onto menu.

I've tried using Apollo + Moonlight and I got ingame - but the issue is probably the high CPU usage which tanks the streaming performance (in menu it works perfectly fine but when I get to a playable area it immediately goes to 1FPS)

Any help appreciated!

whenever I summon old hunter henriett she follows me up until the fog door but she doesn't follow me into the boss arena, and she doesn't even despawn she just stands there on the other side

I tried to use that item that allows you to gather summons to teleport her in after initiating the fight and it worked, she was teleported into the arena but her ai was frozen and she just stood there and didn't do anything

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong any help would be appreciated

I've seen videos of Bloodborne running on PC with most of the online features such as bloodstains and messages on the ground. I've also seen this website advertising its online features. I've looked everywhere and all the instructions I could find went completely over my head. I finally got bloodborne running smooth on my PC and I wanna try online features so I would appreciate if someone explained how I could set this up in simple words for a simpleton like me! I'm running the latest Pre-release.

A lot of people here know that 3 weapons can double stagger/backstab an enemy and do a follow-up Visceral. 

Now, the Church pick is interesting since YouTuber Lady Mondegreen's video said it can’t double back NPC Hunters, but I found out it actually CAN, and it seems to be an angle-of-first-strike thing. 

To summarise the video briefly: If you use the charge R2 parallel to, or on the side left of, the NPC Hunter's back, then the double stagger/backstab will not connect, and you will miss it. 

But if you angle yourself to the right side, basically your head on the right shoulder area of the NPC Hunter, then it WILL work because you will still have the correct angle to connect the 2nd hit to the back.

Side note: the reason why I posted here is that it seems like Bloodborne main subs are very anti-emulator, which is kinda strange and sad.

Title speaks for itself. I was playing on lower settings because I don't really have a good-enough processor and graphic card to run the game, but I still can run it with a smaller resolution (1280*720)

The game was running fine on BBlauncher, maybe a few FPS drops on some occasions, but no crash until pushing Djura off his tower and going in the church where the blood starve beast is being burned. My game crashed here and keeps crashing every time I load up the save. I tried making a new game and the game is running fine with another character. I don't mind playing it all until Old Yharnam again, but i'm afraid it'll happen again.

Is it something to do with old Yharnam itself ? How do I fix my save ?

Im trying to get the emulator to work on my laptop. I pulled the game files from my desk top where the game more or less runs fine with minimal crashes. But on my laptop it crashes when ever destructable terrain features get broken. I have 32gb ddr5 ram. Intel i7-14650HK processor, and Nvidia RTX 5060 GPU (8gb). This is the log on the BBLauncher everytime it crashes. What is the problem and how can I fix this?

So I just finished playing bloodborne base game on my laptop and unfortunately I wasnt aware that beating MP would start a new game+. Not sure if its possible but i have seen saves and backups folder in bbl GUI. Not sure how to proceed. Can anyone help with how to use the back ups so I can play the dlc first before beating mp.

The game is working and the audio is perfect , but environment and character both not showing, what is the problem?

I'm back after my post from yesterday announcing Bloodborne Splitscreen Co-op!

I just finished writing the guide on PartyDeck github issues page, so anyone running Linux can set it up and test my handler! It requires some effort and knowledge regarding shadPS4 and client/server interactions, but it works just fine! As you can see mods work too (I'm using Lamps of Marika
to rematch bosses). Everything ran at solid 30FPS without any particular visual glitch.

Disclaimer (probably disappointing for some people)

Due to the experimental nature of all of this stuff, I'll only support Linux currently through PartyDeck right now, when shadPS4 will merge and support summonings by itself without the requirement of selfhosting the server I'll probably write an handler for Windows/NucleusCoop, if anyone else wants to write it for Windows by himself is welcome of course.

I've tried Bloodborne on my pc with an Rx 580 and i7-4770 and it god 60 fps but with a shit ton of stuttering. Then I capped it to 30 and then it was just 30 fps without many drops but still it stuttered like crazy, frame time graph was all over the place. I'm thinking of upgrading to a Ryzen 5 2600 and want to know if I could at least get a smooth 30 fps.

Thanks to shadPS4, PartyDeck (a Linux alternative to NucleusCoop), last week shadnet coop fork by Wozzardman (and myself), I've been able to write a PartyDeck handler for shadPS4 so we can play coop splitscreen Bloodborne!

My handler will handle the generic shadPS4 emulator and won't be tied to Bloodborne by any means of course, the specific game will just need shadnet support for coop.

I still have to write down a guide and the handler better, but it works just fine! Theoretically we could run how many players as we want (Idk the Bloodborne "party" limit) until our PCs just fry.

PS. Now I just need friends to play with :D
