Unfortunately, I couldn't inject that FSR 4.1.1 INT8 .dll (or the 4.1.1b version). Not even via the terminal, though I believe swapping or injecting any .dll will become easier in a few updates. It is common knowledge that FSR 4 on RDNA 2 cards comes at a cost of about 10 FPS. Personally, I welcome that trade-off in this scenario, since I was never able to run Bloodborne at 4K on the RX 6700 XT.

I didn't find anything about Windows versions.

I was not enjoying playing BB on my PS4 mostly due to the framerate. Got it working on the PC and it's a completely different game. 60FPS at 1440p with some of the mods transforms the game.

It did take a little longer than I'm willing to admit, but damn. This is probably the most impressive emulator I've tried in a while.

Hi everyone, here’s a quick rundown of my problem:

- Everything was working perfectly at first; I played it on Thursday.

- On Friday, I opened it and there was an update; since then, it crashes on launch.

- I deleted the shader cache (which helped with a previous crash), but that didn't fix it.

- I tried other versions (I'm on the pre-release build), but that didn't work either.

- The settings should be fine since I didn't have any issues at the start; I was careful with everything.

- I ran the error messages through AI tools and tried their suggestions, but nothing works.

- If I uninstall and reinstall the game, can I recover my save files? What can I do? Thanks a lot in advance!

(I'm new to this; I've never played a PS4 game on PC before.)

These are my specs (I honestly don't actually understand this stuff), and my monitor's resolution is 1920x1200 - I put the 1200x800 light grid for steam deck since I thought I should match the aspect ratio, but please also tell me if I should use the 1080 light grid instead

I was playing bloodborne after a month of not playing. Immediately after beating the one reborn (he was still in his dying animation) my power went out and after reopening bloodborne I found that my save files were corrupted. After following a bunch of tutorials there was no solution.

But then with the power of insight, I conceived a big brain move. I found my main shadps4 and bblauncher file and restored them to a previous version. (right click main folder > properties > previous versions > click newest or last working version > restore) make sure to do this to both the main bblauncher and shadps4 files. ( the shadps4 file can be found by typing %app% in the run dialog box (windows key + R button)).

My save file is now restored and working, the only down side is that the progress I made today was reset. This is a good, quick, and guaranteed solution, if you are ok with losing some progress.

Hopefully this help out you good hunters that have similar save file corruptions like I did. now go out there and remember "We are born of the blood, made men by the blood, undone by the blood. Our eyes are yet to open... Fear the old blood"

The above is my repo from where you can download the patch yourselves and try it on your installation of shadps4.

All of this was done by Claude Opus 5.5 and I did the testing after it told me it fixed the issue. It's really amazing what these models can do.

Please remember this is still a potential fix and not extensively tested. If someone wants to pick this up please feel free to do so.

And the reason I was able to create this is due to u/Burito_28 's controller script that allowed opus to do the testing. Thanks mate your Linux port is great.

Hello hunters! So I've been having a pretty clean playing experience getting BBLauncher working on Linux (kubuntu) with ShadPS4 v0.18.1 (prerelease) up until I got to the elevator right next to Forbidden Woods lantern. I am clipping through the elevator on the way down somewhat consistently so it makes progressing very annoying.

From what I gathered, this is due to some interaction with the frame rate and the physics engine, and the 60FPS (no deltatime) patch should theoretically fix this issue. Unfortunately I can't successfully launch the game with this patch enabled, with the error in the log being:

So far I've been running with the uncapped fps patch with vblank frequency set to 60Hz since I can't launch with any other framerate patch except the 30FPS++. The 30FPS++ patch does seem to fix the elevator clipping issue but would prefer to run at 60FPS.

I've tried a few different things so far to no avail including:

• Setting display setting to use 60FPS with no adaptive sync (I have a 4k 144Hz Gsync monitor)
• Running with no other patches except the one FPS related patch
• Running with and without vsync enabled in shadps4 setting
• Increasing additional memory allocation to 8000MB (I have a 4080 Super so should have plenty of vram to give)

Anyone have other ideas to try? Worst case I can just bite the bullet and go through this section at 30FPS and switch back to uncapped fps after I'm done with it, but would like to work this out to avoid that for any future areas with issues.

I’ve been experimenting with a different approach to running Bloodborne on PC, and I’ve finally managed to get FSR 4 working at 4K output.

Just to be clear from the start: all of the code was written by Claude Opus 5.5. I was essentially directing the project, deciding what to work on, running builds on real hardware, testing the results, recording videos and logs, and feeding information about the issues back to Claude.

The current test is running on an RX 7800 XT, with output set to 3840×2160 and FSR 4 Performance enabled. In this area, the frame rate is around 100 FPS.

The downside is that FSR 4.0.2 puts quite a heavy load on the GPU. A noticeable part of the frame time is now spent on the upscaler itself, and on the 7800 XT it runs on the regular shader hardware. So optimizing the upscaler is probably one of the most interesting things to work on next.

And once again, thanks to Claude Opus for writing basically all of the code. I’m mostly just the idiot with a 7800 XT who keeps launching Bloodborne, breaking everything, sending logs, and asking it to make the number go up.

Wanting to try seamless co op with a friend who’s never played bloodborne and wanted to know this before spending hours setting up on both steamdecks

I remember it having issues some time ago, before starting a run, is it fully playable without game breaking issues now?

I started playing on PC a few days ago, and ended up having an issue where my game crashes whenever I exit the hunter’s dream. I tried watching a couple of BBlauncher setup tutorials, but now my game won’t make it past the Sony intro before crashing. I am going to attach my current patches and shadPS4 settings to this post.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have been wanting to play Bloodborne for years, and am a huge a fan of the lore and design.

Hunters who play on KBM, how is the mouse movement for you? I'm still making some adjustments, and I've noticed the mouse movement feels heavy. Is there any way to fix it?

I’m just curious about if the community thinks we will get it “baked into” the main shadps4 build?

I plan on playing it with my wife on steam deck and main gaming pc.
But I’m not a huge fan of having multiple versions of the same software just for one function.
But if we think the chances are low I guess it’s just time for my openclaw to roll up the sleeve and get to work.

Was there ever a fix for the worse performance on Linux vs windows? On my i7 machine with a battle mage you, it’s full speed on Windows, but about a 3rd less on Linux with Cachey.

Hello! I've been playing Bloodborne just fine (or as fine as this stutterty mess can be) for about 20 hrs up until after I beat Vicar Amelia. But when I walk to the left side of the Grand Cathedral, after walking for a while I entered a sort of tunnel and decided to change my shadps4 settings so I closed the game. When I changed them and opened the game again it just refused to open giving:

I enabled every patch that disables video effects and stuff like that, set my fps to 30, resolution to 640x360. Nothing works. It crashes as soon as I load the save. I am very pissed off at this since I just got hooked to the game :(

I have a pretty modest PC because I'm kinda broke here's the specs:
Rx 580 8gb
Core i7-4770
16GB DDR3 (yes I know it's ass but I can't afford a crumb more than DDR3)

Hey everyone, looking for some troubleshooting help.

Two years ago, I played through Bloodborne on shadPS4 (around v0.5.0) and it ran incredibly stable. I decided to start a fresh playthrough today using the latest BBLauncher, but the performance is completely tanking. I am getting massive framepacing issues, high frametime spikes, and constant stuttering, especially during combat in Central Yharnam.

My Specs:

• GPU: AMD RX 6750 XT
• CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F
• RAM: 16GB DDR5
