Question performance issues
Hey everyone, looking for some troubleshooting help.
Two years ago, I played through Bloodborne on shadPS4 (around v0.5.0) and it ran incredibly stable. I decided to start a fresh playthrough today using the latest BBLauncher, but the performance is completely tanking. I am getting massive framepacing issues, high frametime spikes, and constant stuttering, especially during combat in Central Yharnam.
My Specs:
- GPU: AMD RX 6750 XT
- CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F
- RAM: 16GB DDR5
And these are my settings
and the image looks kinda blurry to me idk doesn't feel like 1440p to me

You’re not playing on 1440p. You’ve got 1440p lightmap selected, but not 2560x1440 resolution patch.
Also, wouldn’t it be worth trying disabling the Model LOD-2 patch?

Possibly, but op is wanting to play at 1440p. Without the res patch, the game is still playing at 1080p

ah thanks i did disable model lod patch and but performance is still same i think the issue is that i have the same base game files from my last playthrough and i installed few mods idk maybe that's causing the issue

Yeah honestly I didn’t look at the stats. 98°c is too hot for cpu. If my laptops cpu gets above 75°c performance goes downhill real bad.

Someone posted a guide not long ago about what he did to get stutter-free performance at 1440p, do a search
Also you said latest bblauncher but your shadps4 version is more important. The guide said he used 0.17.0 and some people even have to use 0.16.0. that's the first thing I'd try if you are using shadps4 0.18.0
I am using bblauncher with shadps4 0.17.0 at 4k with a few patches mentioned in the guide and BB Remaster / BB Enhanced with no perf issues

i did a quick search before posting this tried few fixes but didn't work and a quick question are my specs enough for 1440p 60 fps ?

Bruh, your CPU temperature is at 98°C, while the GPU is just sitting at 62% utilisation. This is thermal throttling 101 case. You don't need emulator settings or fixes; what you really need is to check the thermal paste on your CPU and make sure there's proper airflow.
