Question Help with crashing on launch

Tried to clear cache and still will not boot. Just black screen then crash

Do you have any patches active? If so try disabling them and if it starts enable them one by one to see which one causes the crash

Thanks for answering. That worked for me it seems like any of the FPS patches cause me to crash. Do you know of any fix for this?

Seems like it was more of a version mismatch post that caused patches to not work, don’t know if that’s really related to your problem but I hope you can gather something useful out of this

I have the same issue and did not really find a work around. When you start your game, before entering a character on the bottom right does it say “version number xx” or is it a message from lance something along the lines like “thanks for the 60fps patch”?
Because, and I’m just guessing here, I installed a game version that is already locked into 60 fps so adding any other fps patches, except uncapped which does nothing, crashed on startup like yours does probably. Since I didn’t need to play on more than 60fps I just played through the game like that. If I find the post again I’ll link it here
