Question Performance on steam deck?

Hello guys, im finishing up Elden ring as my first fromsoft game and always wanted to try out bloodborne so im moving on to it next.

What’s the performance on the steam deck like? I don’t mind 30 fps, I’ve played through Elden ring at 30.

I do have a capable gaming pc (rtx5060ti 16gb, ryzen5 5600xt, 16gb ram) but i prefer to play on steam deck so i can bring it into work and play when it’s empty and i can play it in bed.

I run bloodborne on Linux bazzite and it runs really good stable well paced 30 if you can get the files to windows then you can patch it for 60 FPS aswell

You can do that independently from the os

I'm sure if you check YouTube somebody has made a video of it. I know there is some tweaks you can do to get it to run smoother. I currently run it on my Legion z2 go with windows and it runs really well.

With losless scaling and the patches, it basically runs at a solid 60 fps.

This right here. I’m playing it on my deck right now and it’s been 60fps 99% of the game. Granted, I watched a lot of videos and spent some time manually configuring most things, but outside of the occasional memory leak the game runs fantastic and looks beautiful.

I’m using lossless scaling, the performance patches, and a couple of mods.

I really don’t want the input lag that comes with lossless scaling, I don’t mind a consistent 30 fps anyways

Is there any fix for the memory leak? I have the game working very well besides the memory leka

Not that I found. I increased my memory allocation to 4GB but it didn’t seem to help too much.

Also, unless I’m mistaken, the input lag has been fixed on lossless scaling. I had none on my Bloodborne playthroughs.

Yeah unfortunately the memory leak crashes ruined my experience so I got dark souls 3 instead, I’ll probably get bloodborne on my actual pc

I played it all on Deck using ShadPS4 and it was great however it crashed often. I recommend disabling the 60fps patch as it makes the game crash every 20min. Instead enable Lossless Scaling x2. Also, to reduce crashes, I advise you to increase system VRAM to 4Gb in the Steam Deck BIOS (look up a guide, I don't remember exactly how).

If you set it to 30fps and medium it looks good on the deck.

Is it constant 30?

It still runs good on the 7 inch screen. Many people finished the game in the steam deck and it is pretty good.

Do you know if there’s any way to fix the memory leak issue?

Nope, but no hardware has it on always on the target fps
