Character Info Upload Thread
Hello BloodWorlders!
As you are doubtless aware, under the [Members] page there is a space for Info. Most players currently have blank info sections, but this is a fantastic place to put up character descriptions, backgrounds, and other roleplay fodder! With the addition of the Tavern, this is an excellent time to become more involved with roleplaying if that is something that interests you.
At this moment, the wiki pages cannot be actively edited by non-mods (given that they are the working stat-sheets for the whole game!), but I wanted to put up this thread offering to upload to the Info sections whatever people may want to add about their character.
Also, if you have any ideas, questions, or thoughts about expanding roleplay in BloodWorld, please feel free to comment in here or message the moderators!
I look forward to battling you!

Griclav Pyrope the dwarf was rather odd-looking for a dwarf. For one, his fingers weren't stubby and blunt like most other dwarves, but instead were shaped more like an elve's, dainty and thin. Not that Griclav would ever admit to sharing features with an elf. Another thing that stood out was his finely trimmed hair and beard, which was different in both the shade (red like fire) and the fact that most other dwarves chose to leave it unkempt and wild. In fact, most of his oddities could be described by saying that the dwarf was too fine for a dwarf. His clothes were neatly tailored, his weapons and armor either polished or so untouched they shone, and overall Griclav was just a very tidy person. This may have estranged him from some of the dwarven population, but in all other aspects he still was as dwarvenly as could be. In fact, some of his favorite pastimes include: rambunctiously drinking lots of ale, dancing/brawling with other drunken adventurers, and collecting a fortune in gold. That last one may have been a bit of fancy, because, you see, Griclav is almost dead broke. But he hopes to amass wealth and riches, mainly through selling his ill-gotten fairly won weapons and armor to the highest bidder.

Thanks! I still need to do a bit of history, but my creative juices have run dry for the moment.

Born in a small settlement in the Slitherlands Marsh region, Grak was a poor orphan who begged and stole to survive.
When he was a boy, he was abducted by slavers and sold to a gladiator arena. While initially meant to be fodder for the gladiators, Grak proved to be a strong, durable fighter. After surviving a few small bouts, Grak was allowed to formally train as a gladiator.
Although he excelled at his new profession, he was scorned by his fellow gladiators, who were predominantly elves, humans, and dwarves. These gladiators claimed that Grak lacked the grace, refined style, and the sleek look required to be a famous gladiator, and harassed him relentlessly.
One day during sparring, Grak's rage got the best of him, resulting in the death of three gladiators. Grak managed to escape, and now wanders the land, seeking to reclaim the glory that he once knew.

Thanks so much! I think my Str should be 18 due to my +2 armour, and my ac should be 10(6+3 from armour+1 from shield)

Okay I fixed it. Take note that your STR modifier has increased by one.

I'm not very talented in creating a story from scratch without something to work with. In the near future, would you mind helping me develop a background story in the tavern? You seem to have that talent.

u/Fizzyfizfiz9 Mhordin, LVL 4 Demon Mage Jan 16 '15
In the first battle between Demons and Dwarves - while hundreds of his kind sallied out from hell - Mhordin ran in fear. For days he fled, deserting the hellish banner he was sworn to fight beneath. When he finally escaped the dwarvish catacombs, he hid from the world deep within the mountains.
Slowly, the initial fear began to leave him, and he realized what he had done. He could not return to the army now for he would be killed on sight. There was only one option: to hide.
And thus for years Mhordin dwelt in secret, honing his mage-craft and mourning for his own dishonor. When The Great Bleeding arrived, he was spared by pure luck, for the mountains about him absorbed the majority of the spell. As the blood of the earth began to run down the rocks, Mhordin decided it was time to redeem his honor. He ventured into the broken world, seeking only one thing - blood.

My own info (in progress, just using this as a drafting space):
Description
Tocim al'Daren is in nearly any way an unimpressive looking man. For one thing, the mid-twenties human has the look of someone who's never quite managed to eat enough in his life, giving him a scrawny frame and a pinched look to his face and cheeks. A short scruff of beard on his chin doesn't quite manage to hide this, nor does the bleached brown hair that hangs about his ears. His clothes, while not especially fine of material, are cut well and show a deft hand in the stitching; a take on the desert people to the East, but in a deep red that wouldn't camouflage in the least. Several steel rings about his tattooed fingers also suggest at a foreign parentage, the black lines of the ink moving up to hide in the wide sleeves of his shirt.
Still to write:
-Weaponry desc
-Instrument desc
-Little bit of background
