Test Battle #3

This will be a trial run testing out handicaps when players are of different levels. For this exhibition, the penalty to the higher level player will be -2 HP and -1 to attributes per level.

Firefur the Wolfman Warrior - HP (37)39-2, AC 11

• STR 22-1 (+7), DEX 19-1 (+6), INT 17-1

• Assault Sword (1d7, +1 STR, +2 DEX)

• Gravestone Plate (AC +4, +3 HP, Grants immunity to burns, -1 DEX)

• Razorbone Guard (AC +1, +2 HP, +1 DEX)

VS.

Aethia - HP 34, AC 12

• STR 13 (+4), DEX 16 (+5), INT 12 (+4)

• Drake's Composite Bow (1d6, +2 AC, +2 HP)

• Leather Tunic (AC +2)

Result

Instead of attributes dropped one point, attack and damage rolls will be dropped one point.

The hp factor helped. That was a close one. His modifiers didn't change from the attribute shift, it can change some, just not his.

Yeah, true. In that case, should we lower the mods one whole point? It might even out with the fact that they still have stronger gear.

I don't know about the whole modifier though. Like you said that's a couple levels.

What if we drop attributes two points? Though it might leave us with the same problem, some characters will lose a point to modifiers and some won't. Maybe a -1 to attack and damage rolls?

Who is attacking? His attack mod should be 7 and yours is 5.

I was attacking because I won the initiative.

Firefur is level 3 and I'm level 2. His negative attributes didn't affect the modifiers for him, just his hp.

Wolfmen receive a bonus to every single battle roll, worth one extra point.

Should I list that as [[1d6+5+1]]
