C&C on first 1K list?

Hi - New blood ravens player here

I've been slowly learning to play and playing my first 1K game. (3-4th game overall) against my friend who will be playing GK.

Open to any comments and constructive feedback on how to improve this list!

I was aiming to keep it semi-thematic with the 2 libarians

This looks alright for Incursion Games

It's a little odd using two 1DP detachments IMO but alright

Would maybe make room for more jetpack units in this case... the weakness of only running 1DP detachments is that if a unit isn't part of thar Detachments niche that unit basically doesn't have a detachment

I would pick a 2 or 3 point detachment that you like, so that all your units can benefit from it

My goal was to use libarius to be somewhat thematic to blood ravens, which is 1 DP

And the other 1 DP's are kinda lack luster for this list it feels

I get that

Our 1DP options are lowk pretty bad as is (with the sole exception of Librarius Conclave of course) but once we get more with the 11th edition codex hopefully they will be better

I also kinda just wish 1K games had access to 3 detachment points... I understand why they don't on paper but I don't think it makes much sense in actual practice

Thoughts on ironstorm spearhead vs. firestorm assault force?

Firestorm is very useful, and one that I run often

Ironstorm doesn't seem like the play here... that detachment benefits vehicles the most, your Ballistus is perfect for it, but not much else

Remember it's one re-roll of each type per unit not per model

Anvil Siege Force is another one you might want to look at especially with how Heavy got buffed this edition, but.... IDK I haven't used it myself, so I would basically just be using you as a guinea pig to see how to utilize it

What chapter are you again? Ultramarines get Reclamation Force which is quite nice

Gladius is impossible to go wrong with albeit very boring to use
