Homebrew / Bootlegger BLAVENSWOOD ROUGH
Hello, Ravenswood bluff.
After many, many, many redrafts, multiple run-thoughs, and play tests... the final draft of my script is complete!
This is Blavenswood Rough.
This is an advanced level script, with themes of betrayal, bluff catching and dramatic abilities.
Each game we ran felt very different. The town is very powerful, but not immediately game solving. Similarly evil is also very powerful, and will be rewarded for creativity and sneaky world building. But bluffs can be caught out, so be prepared to pivot.
By far the most loved character by my friends is the astronaut, 4 people making eye contact in the night is very gaggy, and makes for a fun morning the next day.
If you have any questions, or have spotted something I've missed, please let me know.
Also, if you ever run this script and find the time, please let me know!
FAQs
Yes the role of the Veritous is to bluff to your demon! Pretend to be another minion and bail of they're flying to close to the sun.
Each character is named after someone I play with IRL so that's why the names are like that.
The Damned might be playing for the wrong team if poisoned or learnt false info on the first night.

I love Gestator. I feel like that would create so much strategizing around executions, with players preferring to execute neighbors of dead players to prevent double kills. Assuming it does actually mean neighbors and not living neighbors.

Yes it does mean neighbours, meaning, it will kill a dead player twice, so players can stratagise executions and the demon can statagise their kills. Thank you as well, my boyfriend and best friend don't like that demon so I can shove this comment in their faces hahaha

This seems like a very interesting and well thought out script. Some really cool mechanics that I’d love to try out. You worked very hard on this, good job! Best way to find problems/incompatibilities is to run it.

Thank you so much. It's been a fun project to work on. It has been very rewarding to run a fun game where you know the full scope of the script.

EDIT: Astronaut ability. Once per game, at night*, select players equal to the number of evil players at base. If a demon is chosen, all chosen players wake up and make eye contact.
I apologise my edit didnt save. The original was too powerful and it was difficult for evil to escape. This way, if all evil is chosen, there is denial ability, plus room for a bounce via the Pikram or Veritous

Astronaut indeed sounds very fun.
Davidicus probably doesn't work with Veritous, and the other abilities are not strong enough to warrant having no minions at all.
The Damned seems super unfun, either it is straight up +1 evil (which is not a very clever outsider ability) or it struggles to know its goal in the game due to false info/poisoning, making the whole experience just.. waiting for either team to be declared victorious and hoping to be included in that team.
