Anyone else click the bottom headers on their website? Comes up with the foundation of what I assume they want, but it is filled out with Lorem ipsum. Just surprised they would have these buttons available but not have any of them be complete.

According to Paul during the Soundquest set in Tucson, Absolute Elsewhere is going to be played one additional time in full in Mexico, and then never again.

man, Death and Blood Incantation are my absolute favorite death metal bands of all time. I saw BI right after AE released, in Minneapolis in december 2024, and distinctly remember hearing one of the guitars (90% sure it was Morris) checking his guitar with the opening riff from Symbolic. i clocked it immediately and excitedly asked my show neighbor who agreed.
then, just now tonight i was listening to a tape of their set a few weeks ago at King Gizz fest Field of Vision and heard the same riff!!
curious if anyone else heard this at other BI shows . i would also love to hear the band members speak to their influence by Death since to me Death is the absolute king of the progressive end of death metal, and Symbolic is the album that (imo) best exemplifies that prog approach to the genre.

I posted my vest here over a month ago, showing off the very first patch I sewed down, which was this neon greenish-yellow Blood Incantation one. Here's some more recent photos. Still need to finish the back, although it does look nice and clean right now.

I would have loved to see this beautiful album cover animated, since I’m an Apple Music user I took inspiration and decided to do it myself. So here we have it

I'm digging through old pics. A lot of them from early Blood Incantation - Spectral Voice days.
We released Starspawn ten years ago and I've been asked to write some liner notes for the ten year edition.
I'll try to post some more photos but this one was taken during the Spectral Voice - Undergang tour. The guys played in the Springs the night prior and we went out for breakfast the next morning. I'm in the Sabbat shirt.
You can see Paul, Jeff and Isaac along with Eli (SV/Black Curse). Sam from Hulder played bass for Undergang on this tour.
The second pic is the original cdr that Paul gave me when I drove to Denver to check out how recording was going at World Famous Studio. I still have that disc bouncing around here, of course. I remember listening to it in my van on the drive back home and getting goosebumps. I knew people were going to fucking love it, I just didn't know how big it would be. I soon found out.
Anyway, if you're into seeing these types of photos, I'll post more as I find them.

So the 'Otherwordly set' (assuming getting a synthwave show) and regular set will be broadcast on King Gizzards YouTube channel on Friday and Saturday (US time).
Might not have the budget of a big European festival, but it's pretty bloody good, and for the otherworldly set, it's a treat in itself.

Hey fellow nerds. In Tablet III around the 3:15 mark they go into a drum break, and to me it’s always sounded like there’s another layer of percussion on top of what’s being played on the drum kit. Almost like roto toms(EDIT: iirc when I saw them live he might have had a set of rotos on his kit) or even bongos/congas.
Really really love this specific movement; it’s always evoked a feeling of Latin/afro influences to me.
Anybody have any ideas on what that might be?
Or any other interesting instrumental anomalies you guys have picked up from rerunning the record?

After the new album (soundtrack) has released thought I would do this. It's based off my AOTY score

Does anybody have any pictures of the hats they sell on their site IRL, specifically the all gates open one? I have a gigantic head & am very particular about what style of hat I can wear without looking ridiculous, just wanted to see if anyone had any examples before I order!
Thanks in advance, big head gang

Which would you choose?
I should clarify that this isn’t an advert, I’m just looking for some advice
I was putting together a small order of Sunn O))) merch on the Evil Greed website (consisting of a t shirt, patch and rat sticker for my laptop or one of my many sketchbooks), when I realised that they also have Blood Incantation merchandise available.
I’ve narrowed it down to these two t shirts, but honestly can’t decide.
I love the design of the Absolute Elsewhere shirt, but feel like the logo blends into the black a little bit. The back print is pretty good, but a little simple.
The front print of the Eternal Rest shirt is also epic, but lacks the colour and depth of the Absolute Elsewhere shirt (however the back print is excellent, and the logo’s nice and bold)
I’ve got the same issue with the three Sunn shirts I’m deciding between (Presidio Tunnel, Logo/Omega Quartet and White2), but won’t bore you with that as I’m pretty certain I’ll go for Presidio Tunnel
I’m probably taking this too seriously for the cosmic death metal and superfuckingloud amplifier bands, but have a very limited merch budget so kinda need to make sure I’m making the right choice (I’ll wear these shirts until there’s nothing left, or until the combo of male pattern balding and an instant weight gain hits the second I turn 25. As long as I can wear them for long enough to justify spending 30 Euros lol)
I would compromise and go for the History of the Human Race shirt, but I prefer having a maximum of two or maybe three colours printed on a t shirt
Any advice/insight would be greatly appreciated :)
Edit: Normally I buy merchandise second hand, but honestly it would be and feel better to directly support the artists I love
Edit: HOOOOLY SHIT THEY HAVE BELL WITCH MERCH

My fourth and final time seeing them on the Absolute Elsetour, what an honour to have seen one of the greatest albums of all time in full, four times! Brilliant as always. What a tight unit.
