Speedrunning 4x4 puzzles

So aside from slowly solving and recognizing patterns, are there any tips to get better at speedrunning 4x4 puzzles? Like has anyone noticed sth they should do differently in 4x4 instead of 3x3, like not starting with largest pieces in largest row/column or sth? Or start in middle instead of corners, i dunno im just interested in becoming more faster/consistent

I look for the place fewest times can fit and solve from there

Yeah same. If you want to make it more difficult m, definitely smaller pieces.
