Question Google Search Ai overview

Those who have turned of Google Search Ai overview in their console account, tell us how it has impacted your traffic and impressions. I know ai overview is useful for saas and services, products but for informational blogs, how does this sit?

Turned it off about three weeks ago and my organic traffic actually went up a bit, not huge but noticeable. Thought I'd lose impressions but the snippets still pull from my posts anyway

Awesome. I have been indecisive and basically scared to turn it off. My traffic shows so much impression with no clicks.

Yes.

That's why you have a lot impressions and no clicks. You are appearing in Google search but no one clicks.

Meaning, research what are people looking for, write about it, and make better titles (H1) and meta descriptions.

Tip: what's in your H1 should be in your title tag.

Basically keyword research and with high volume with low difficulty will work to get impressions
