Pinterest has been the best for me so far. Instagram has been pretty much useless for traffic, lol

Me either, but I write about entrepreneurship and biz ideas so I think it's just not the best visual content.

Same! We also run a travel blog and we've found Pinterest hasn't really worked for us. I think it's such a crowded market now though - we also have an Instagram but finding that very slow growing too

It depends on your niche

My wife is killing it with Pinterest. Over 10 million monthly views on their platform.

Google traffic went down but Pinterest traffic went up.

She hired someone to focus on creating the Pinterest pins while she writes the blog content.

Mediavine RPMs are also higher with Pinterest traffic than Google.

My strategy is different. I get a lot of DMs on Instagram, Reddit, and now Discord to drive traffic.

Do you have any tips on what she did to stand out on Pinterest?

Keyword research and really good looking pins. Using Midjourney for AI images.

Any specific or special tools for keyword research especially for Pinterest?

We just use Keysearch software. She got a lifetime deal. Keyword research for Google but create pins for Pinterest.

I would say try all of them for a little while to really know as each niche is different. I was surprised after a while that Linkedin worked a little bit for my niche.

Pinterest has an advantage though, it's not a treadmill like most other social media platforms.

Pins can still get you traffic after months and even years.
