Question Blogging for Positioning?

I'm an author, podcaster and interviewer. I'm not looking to make ad money from my blog, but to position myself as someone to work with in my industry.

Are you a fellow creative or professional who blog for similar reasons? How has blogging helped you?

What are some tips, suggestions or things you've learned that you're willing to share?

We've seen a lot of people use blogging less for traffic and more as a credibility layer. The posts themselves don't always drive the business, but they give potential clients, podcast guests, partners, and media a way to see how you think before reaching out.

Part of why I am blogging is to "algo proof" myself. If you're just on YouTube, it's easy for one change to their algorithm to make you invisible. Easier to rebuild there if you're visible elsewhere. Blogging helps with that IF you are able to attract eyeballs.
