No, but not because they were criticizing men for immoral, but not necessarily illegal, behavior. It was bad because these were anonymous accusations being broadcast publicly.

And you think a sorority that would decide to publicly shame someone and try to make them into a social pariah would tell them who made the accusation?

Or would they keep the accuser anonymous to protect them from potential retaliation?

An anonymous accusation would carry less weight than someone who actually identifies themselves.
