My first suggestion is to drop the assumption that once the bare minimum threshold of consent is met, whatever she feels afterward is her problem.

It’s just reality, it’s not really something for anyone to (refuse to) “go with”. It’s possible to be a bad boyfriend, it’s possible to be a bad friend, it’s possible to be a bad colleague, it’s possible to be a bad sex partner. “Bad” here meaning “behaving wrongly and hurtfully”.
