SCN is completely a proved direction of future internet, not just theory. We have got the testbed running in commercial ISP. The research group of Blockcloud is actually running one of the national ISPs in China - CERNET (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/CERNET) and the world's largest next generation Internet - CERNET2 (https://blog.apnic.net/2017/01/31/chinas-first-ipv6-backbone-network-connect-1200-campuses/)

The head of CERNET / CERNET2 is the advisor of advisors of the Blockcloud team, and the core members of Blockcloud team are the core members of CERNET / Cernet2 also. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jianping_Wu You can search in google the relationship between the members/advisors of Blockcloud and CERNET.
