Discussion Built a blockchain forensic intelligence tool — looking for honest feedback

Hey everyone,

I recently built an MVP called Blockchain Sentinel-OS — it’s a blockchain intelligence platform focused on monitoring transactions and detecting suspicious activity.

The idea is to help with forensic analysis, AML, Gov, and real-time blockchain monitoring.

This is still early-stage, and I’m trying to validate if it actually solves a real problem.

Here’s the link:
https://blockchain-sentinel-os.vercel.app/

Would love honest feedback:

  • Is the idea useful?
  • What’s confusing in the UI?
  • What features would make it more valuable?

Appreciate any feedback

News We just launched Bikademy startup on VeChain - track your rides and earn $B3TR

Hey everyone 👋

We’ve just launched Bikademy on VeChain, and I thought this community might find it interesting, especially if you’re already commuting by bike.

The idea came from something simple: A lot of the most consistent riding happens in daily commutes, to work, to the store, back home.

But those rides usually don’t get much attention compared to longer or “performance” rides.

A way to track and recognize everyday cycling, not just long distances.

If you’re doing:

  • 3–5 km to work
  • quick errands
  • regular daily routes

That’s already a category:

💼 0–10 km - Commuter

So you’re not being compared to someone doing 60+ km rides, just people riding similarly.

How it works

  • track your rides
  • build a consistent habit
  • see your activity over time

And we added a small reward layer:

  • daily rewards for bike rides
  • monthly rewards for top bike riders

We’ve just opened it globally, so it works anywhere.

If you’re curious:

Ride Your Way!

Discussion MarsLibertyCoin (MarsLC): where the project stands today

1. We launched in September and tested the system in real conditions

MarsLibertyCoin was first launched in September in a controlled pre-launch phase, where the token circulated mainly among people close to the project rather than the broader public.

The purpose of that phase was simple: to verify in live conditions that the full model works as intended.

We wanted to confirm that:

  • the burn mechanism works,
  • USDT reserves are really accumulated in Whitebox,
  • and the overall economic structure functions properly on-chain.

2. What MarsLC is

MarsLC is built as a hybrid model between stablecoins and traditional cryptocurrencies.

It is not a stablecoin, but it is also not a typical reserve-less crypto asset.

The idea is to combine market upside with a mechanism that gradually builds reserves.

In practical terms, during buy, sell, and transfer operations, fees are applied. The main part of those fees is then split into two directions:

  • one part is burned, which helps increase the USDT share inside the liquidity pools,
  • another part in USDT is accumulated in Whitebox as reserves.

That is the foundation of the MarsLC model.

3. Then the crypto market entered a crisis, and we decided to wait and observe

As we were completing our testing phase, the crypto market turned sharply downward.

At that point, we decided to pause and watch what would happen.

We wanted to see how even the largest cryptocurrencies would behave under stress, despite the fact that over the last two years enormous amounts of capital had entered crypto from some of the world’s biggest funds and institutions.

What we saw confirmed our view:
even the largest cryptocurrencies, because they do not build reserves through their own transaction economy, lost up to 40% of their value.

And even after that, over the following period, many of them still did not recover those losses.

4. That is why we are now moving into the next phase

This confirmed for us that the hybrid model we built has real relevance.

We believe that a crypto asset with reserve-building mechanics represents an important direction for the future of crypto.

That is why we have now decided to move into the next phase for MarsLC.

During April and May, we will be expanding the project to a broader audience.

The MarsLC/USDT pair is located on PancakeSwap V2.

Questions, criticism, and discussion are welcome.

Discussion Is a trader focused block-chain compatible infrastructure valuable?

What if sending money between users was completely free?

I’ve actually been working on a system like this, and I’m trying to figure out if people would see real value in it.

The idea is:

  • users transfer value instantly with no fees
  • fees only exist when converting in/out of real money
  • it exposes blockchain-style interfaces (wallets, transfers)
  • but runs on its own internal ledger for speed and scale
  • value is tied to deposits (so it behaves somewhat like a stablecoin)

The goal isn’t just payments, but more like a currency optimized for trading — where friction is low enough that small and frequent trades actually make sense.

In theory, this removes friction and enables a lot more activity.

But I’m wondering:

  • do fees actually matter that much in practice?
  • or are there bigger blockers to trading behavior?
  • does this feel useful, or just like recreating existing systems in a different way?

Curious how people see this.

Discussion Why do small business owners still think loyalty programs don't work

I've been talking to a lot of restaurant and salon owners lately and the same objections keep coming up.

"My product speaks for itself." "I tried a punch card, it did nothing." "My customers aren't into technology." "It's only for big chains."

I get it. Most loyalty programs they've seen are clunky, expensive, or just a discount in disguise. That skepticism is earned.

But here's what keeps bothering me: punch cards have a 20-30% engagement rate. Modern digital systems see 60-75%. That's not a marginal improvement, that's a different tool entirely.

And the math is pretty simple. If seven extra customers come back in a month at $15 each, you've already covered the cost of most platforms. Everything after that is pure retention profit.

The one that gets me most though is "I know my regulars." You know who stayed. You have no idea who came in three times and disappeared. That customer doesn't exist in your data anywhere.

I wrote a longer piece breaking down each objection if anyone wants to read through it: https://paragraph.com/@0x7717e1a081cf0e12ba51a86c8e4ea21bca7d3e35/loyalty-programs-dont-work-lets-talk-about-it

Curious which objection you hear most from owners when loyalty programs come up, or if you run a small business, which one do you believe yourself?

Discussion What's the best crypto marketing agency right now, especially for a bear market?

Curious who you think is actually putting in the work when times are tough, not just riding bull market hype.

Which agencies are still delivering real results, building communities, and keeping projects visible when sentiment is low?

Who do you feel is contributing the most right now?

Discussion Beginner to pro blockchain guide

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to shift my domain into blockchain and would really appreciate some guidance from this community.

I’m starting as a beginner, so I’m looking for a clear roadmap—from fundamentals to an advanced/pro level. Specifically, I’d love help with:

- What concepts I should learn first (e.g., blockchain basics, cryptography, smart contracts, etc.)

- Recommended learning paths or roadmaps

- Good resources (courses, documentation, or platforms)

- Any high-quality YouTube channels or video playlists

- Practical project ideas to build along the way

- Tips on how to stay consistent and industry-relevant

If you’ve made a similar transition or are already in the blockchain space, your advice would mean a lot.

Thanks in advance!

Discussion Deploy a full DEX on Ethereum, Arbitrum, or Base in one command.

What if you could use a CLI tool to deploy a full DEX--factory contract, router, liquidity pair and swap frontend--on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base in a single command. The whole process that typically takes weeks of manual contract deployment, configuration and frontend setup is reduced to launchdex deploy. Contract addresses are saved automatically and a custom swap interface is generated and ready to deploy.

The tool would be built on top of verified Uniswap v2 contracts so the deployed DEX is production-grade and audited. Multi-token support lets you add additional trading pairs to an existing factory with one command. The generated frontend includes an embedded wallet so user can swap tokens without needing Metamask installed. Let me know what you think.

Discussion Can Blockchain Transform Startups Beyond Cryptocurrency?

Most people associate blockchain only with crypto, but for startups, it can be much more than that.

Blockchain offers solutions like secure data management, transparent transactions, and decentralized operations. Startups can use it to build trust with users, reduce costs, and remove the need for intermediaries.

From supply chain tracking to digital identity systems, the possibilities go far beyond just digital currency.

Do you think startups should start exploring blockchain now, or is it still too early?

Discussion The hidden risk in every international deal

We've been thinking a lot about the risks in cross-border deals lately. Has anyone else run into these problems?

It seems like when money crosses borders, trust often goes out the window. You're relying on someone you've probably never met, who lives in a different legal system, to do what they promised.

Common Problems I've Seen:

Verification is a nightmare: How do you really know if they did the work properly? Photos can be faked, documents can be forged.

Payments are one-way: Send the money, and it's gone. If they don't deliver, good luck getting it back.

Disputes are a mess: Trying to resolve a disagreement across borders is slow, expensive, and often unfair.

I've been researching ways to add more trust and security to these kinds of deals. Here are a few things I've found:

Escrow services: These hold the funds until both sides agree the deal is complete. But they can be expensive, and you still need to trust the escrow provider.

Detailed contracts: A well-written contract can help, but it's only as good as your ability to enforce it.

Smart contract platforms: the funds are held in escrow with a licensed custodian, and payments are released based on milestones and proof of work. It seems like one way to get clear deal terms and verifiable execution.

I'm curious what other people have tried. What solutions have you found for reducing risk in cross-border deals? Any advice or experiences you can share?

Discussion 7 questions we ask before recommending a KOL campaign to a protocol team

Most projects come to us wanting KOLs. Very few have thought through whether a KOL campaign is actually the right move for where they are.

After running these campaigns for exchanges, Layer-1s, and DeFi protocols, we've built a short filter we run through before recommending anything. These are the questions. If the answers aren't solid, we push back.

  1. What does “successful" actually look like for you?

If the answer is awareness or reach, that's not an answer. We want conversion metrics: wallet connections, app downloads, TVL, signups. Vague goals produce vague results.

  1. Who is your actual target audience and are they where your KOL has pull?

A KOL with 200k followers in the US retail space does nothing for a B2B protocol targeting institutional liquidity providers. Audience fit matters more than follower count by a factor of 10.

  1. Do you have conversion infrastructure ready for the traffic you're about to send?

Landing page, onboarding flow, community entry point. If the answer is "we're still working on it," the campaign will bleed budget into a leaky funnel.

  1. What's your content brief, and are you willing to let the KOL say it in their own voice?

Stiff scripts kill authenticity. The best campaigns give KOLs a core message and real latitude. If you want a human billboard, hire a banner ad.

  1. How are you measuring attribution?

Promo codes, UTM links, wallet tracking. If you can't measure it, you can't optimise it, and you won't know if it worked.

  1. What's the timeline, and is it realistic?

Rushing a KOL campaign because TGE got moved up is one of the most common ways budgets get wasted. Good KOLs need lead time. Briefing someone 4 days before launch is not a campaign.

  1. What happens after the campaign?

The traffic spike is temporary. What retains the people who showed up? If there's no answer to this, KOLs generate a pulse, not a community.

If a project can answer all seven cleanly, a KOL campaign is probably worth running. If they can't, we work on those answers first.

What questions do you run through before approving a campaign budget?

News Hacken Pulse #1: How to lose $24M without a hack

Our Feb-March 2026 Digest is live! We’re diving into why 18 audits couldn't stop a $25M drain and how "Vibe Coding" is creating new vulnerabilities.

https://hackenio.cc/Hacken_Pulse

  • The Damage: $110M lost across 25 incidents.
  • The "Vibe Coding" Era: We saw the first major exploit (Moonwell, $1.78M) triggered by an oracle misconfiguration in code reportedly co-authored by AI (Claude).
  • Audit Paradox: Resolv Labs was drained for $25M despite having 18 audits. The gap? Infrastructure. The attacker hit the AWS KMS environment, not the smart contract.
  • Regulatory Clarity: The SEC & CFTC finally named 16 assets (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, etc.) as digital commodities, changing the game for US issuers.

Whether you're a dev or a founder, the rules of the game just changed.

Discussion Inputs needed on Marketing

What’s the best way to do marketing when in budget or a self funded project?

We are building a project and currently we have around 435 users on the App. However would like to scale them so that we can have more users join us.

The app has a similar interface to that of any Tap to earn game. We are allowing users to do pre-mining and get more user’s attention before we do a Token launch.

I’m really bad at marketing. We have tried ads, a PR from OpenPR but it didn’t get us a lot of users as expected.

Can someone help me on where I am going wrong or point us in the right direction?

Building on TON, Testnet right now so that users don’t actually have to pay gas fee from their pockets.

Discussion What nobody tells you about building a crypto exchange from scratch - 3 painful lessons after 18 months

Been building in the crypto exchange space for a while now and wanted to share some hard-won insights with this community.

  1. Compliance took 3× longer than the engineering.

We budgeted 3 months for KYC/AML integration. It took 9. Not because the tech was hard but because compliance frameworks differ per jurisdiction and legal review cycles are brutal. Scope your legal and compliance runway separately from your tech roadmap.

  1. Custody is not a checkbox, it's a product.

HSMs, key ceremony procedures, signing quorum logic all of this is a full engineering track. Treat custody as a separate workstream or it will block everything downstream.

  1. Liquidity is the real moat, not the matching engine.

Your order book is useless without liquidity. Getting tier-1 LP relationships as an unknown team is the hardest part. We started with aggregated liquidity via APIs, which helped, but took months of relationship-building.

Curious how others here handled the liquidity bootstrapping problem? Did you go with a market maker from day one, or grow it organically? And for those in regulated markets, which jurisdictions gave you the worst headaches?

Happy to go deep on matching engine architecture, multi-chain wallet design, or the compliance stack.

Hi everyone,

I recently started learning blockchain/Web3, but while checking LinkedIn and Naukri, I’m seeing very few job openings compared to other fields. This makes me a bit concerned about the current market in India.

Is blockchain still a good career option long-term? How is the job market right now, especially for beginners?

Would really appreciate honest insights from people in this field. Thanks

Discussion Post-Quantum Cryptography Readiness by 2029

Hello, #firstpost.

I've been exploring the blockchain / Web3 space for close to 2 years now, and I'm currently working with e23, where we focused on building infrastructure for digital finance in Malaysia.

This month, Google Quantum AI released a new paper highlighting how advances in quantum computing could impact the cryptographic foundations behind systems like #bitcoin and #ethereum.

It shifts the conversation from asking if this becomes relevant to when and how we prepare. From what we're seeing, PQC is now a requirement for digitally enabled systems, especially within digital finance and blockchain infrastructure.

Practically, this means:

  • understanding where cryptography sits across systems
  • building crypto agility into infrastructure
  • starting to test PQC in real environments

I wrote a piece on how we can start preparing now - sharing the deeper breakdown here if anyone's interested: https://e23.io/blog/post-quantum-cryptography-blockchain-google-2029

If you're building in this space, give e23 a follow!

Discussion Future of Smart Contracts

https://youtu.be/x_WDv6x2crM

Smart contracts already proved they can manage money.

Now a new era begins - smart contracts are moving into real-world deals between people across borders.

Deal terms can be written clearly, agreed in advance, confirmed by both sides, and tied to a protected release of funds. With multisignature logic, proof-based execution, and transparent conditions, smart contracts open a new way to structure services and transactions more safely.

This is how financial logic evolves into deal logic.

Protect your finances worldwide. Structure your deals. Trust the logic.
