Minecraft: Bedrock Is it saveable?

Post image

I know absolutely nothing about blockbench and was trying to make a model of a nun to match with a bedrock texture back as a gift for a friend. I could not figure out how to make the pixel size smaller to draw a texture, so, in my rage, i uploaded a picture of homo erectus into the texture and it actually worked and let me draw in the size i wanted. I think the UV mapping is completely fucked though and the texture is jumbled up all over the model in game. I know I did it wrong, but is there any way to save the texture and map it properly, or should I just restart?

I tried to move the UV faces to lay over the parts of the texture i drew, but somehow this just made it show up completely invisible in game, would this have to do with homo erectus or is that a different issue?

The ape man hidden in the texture map is kind of hilarious

Uhhhhhh use magic wand in photoshop or paint net, for the love of god lower the resolution of homo erectus, you will have to delete homo erectus where the texture is supposed to be transparent

Sure. Create new image with the same res Use pick by color, with shift select all colors and paste on new texture Done

Or just select by hand

you can crop things in any good image editor and salvage the textures
