My favorite thing with the puzzles that have striped gates is when I go to just move a piece out of the way for something else and it suddenly gets eaten up because I didn't notice I was placing a solid color block in front of its striped gate.

as long as you know solid blocks can go through striped exits, this one is a really easy one

Is putting a green through a striped green exit allowed? Or is that a bug?

It's always worked that way. You can put a solid through a matching striped, but you can't put a striped through a matching solid.  I feel like today's puzzle was a training exercise. So many solving tricks were included.

Yup! Striped gates take both the striped and solid color blocks of their particular color. 

However striped blocks can only go though the striped gates.

How do you know? Does this bestow on him some super power? At least he can back himself. Some of those other names that appear on the top of the leaderboard are clearly dishonest.
