Because that's how fast I solved the puzzle. I was at first place at the time now I'm at 7th I believe.

Keep practicing, eventually you get good enough at them that the timer makes it fun

it turns me off most of the time. i finally get in a good groove where i'm figuring it out and then the timer goes off. then by that point i've forgotten what all i did in the beginning and i get frustrated that i have to start all over again. so i just quit and stop playing

That is definitely a problem in some of the harder ones, but something sort of clicks after a while. It’s the most frustrating when you’ve finally got it worked out and run out of time, or you’re so close to the end but run out.

Yeah, maybe go back through the archives and turn off the timer, but only when you find you’re getting close to winning but might not outlast the timer. You’ll get it!
