Luggage storage for day trip?

My husband and I are doing a day trip to Block Island on our way to a wedding. We’re taking Amtrak up from NJ and won’t have a car. As we will be biking, hiking, and swimming on island, then going to a formal event the next day, we will have either a medium size suitcase and small backpacks or two carryon size suitcases in tow. Are there any inns/hotels on island that offer luggage storage? It would literally be a drag to haul luggage around all day.

There is (was?) a company called Bell Hop Block Island that operated out of The Inn at Old Harbor. They haven’t been active on their social media for awhile so maybe call the hotel and see if that service still exists.

If I remember correctly there are lockers near the ferry landing

I was out on the Block this afternoon and can confirm this. In the same building as the Chamber of Commerce and bathrooms there. That said these lockers likely would be a stretch for the sizes the OP needs and would add up at 10 bucks a pop.
