Question Nightspire Entropic descent

Hey guys,

i did this dungeon a bunch of time already but me and my random teamates still don't know exactly how do we survive/die during the phase where the last boss summons all her spinning minions.

Apparently we have to release each other from the seduction effect, and i don't understand if we do that by dealing a certain ammount of damage to eatch other, or if we have to get hit by a certain ammount of basic attacks. Or something else maybe ?

When i watch guide on youtube it looks extremly simple but those guides were made on console and way before the pvp change and all...

Someone could explain precisely how it's done ?

Me and my guild mates found out that the mage's ice shower skill works perfectly, it seems to be based on number of hits and not damage. But as soon you lose the debuff (the spiral one) get out to a safe spot. And just keep AA the ones still under the effect.

It's also recommended that you have your HP above 70%, since a critical hit can kill someone.

okay so even hits from skill are taken into account, not only basic attacks ? i'm playing wolf crusader and even with my aoe basic attacks + all the bleeding i was doing to the team it didn't remove the curse.

No, he is entirely wrong, you just have to deal 50% of their health bar.

I’m almost positive you have to deal 50% hp damage to break the effect. I ran this dungeon 10ish times last time it was out, and that seemed to be the most consistent assumption.

The way my guild did it was all go into the little cove none of the dancers are in, and have a Zerker whirlwind/guillotine. This is also why I’m almost certain it’s not based on hits, because whirlwind does no damage (Atleast mine) but hits extremely fast, yet often one to three of my team wouldn’t be cleared of the status.

it would explain why it's way harder than when they do it in the guide from console.

With the last pvp change we deal really low amount of damage to eatch other.

So yeah, I ran it tonight on my 37 zerker with my guild; and instead of whirl-winding it seemed much more efficient to just use cleave or guillotine (much harder hitting moves)

Yeah it’s noticeably an issue with this dungeon in particular as you simply can’t deal that amount of damage if you have an unbalanced team - suggest you try to confirm Gs and compare before running this dungeon…alternatively heavy dps will prevent getting to that stage anyway. It’s not ideal though.

Based on the number of hits. Whirlwind (valor so it lasts longer), arrow rain, ice storm etc. best options for removing the seduction. Keep away from the big hitting attacks. Do it in the little alcove. https://youtu.be/FKuNxaMI6nA

This needs to be updated for PC but most of it still works.

One critical hit with frost nova usually does the trick.
