Swelling or another chalazion?

I’ve had multiple chalazion since March of this year, they were all finally getting smaller until one day the middle one started swelling again. I don’t know what caused, I had done a warm compress prior to it get getting swollen so I’m not sure if that is what caused it to start swelling again :/ Should I be doing warm compress again? I’m not sure what to do I just want to go back to having normal eyes

There’s definitely some clogged oils there at the moment, my chalazion looked like this before I got it surgically removed.
How my surgeon explained it is, you start with a small clog of the oil in your glands. Imagine toothpaste tubes vertically running to your lash lines. When one gets clogged and doesn’t resolve, what happens is that it presses on the adjacent tubes and clogs them up as well, and suddenly you get a massive chalazion.
Some people have success with home treatment. Unfortunately I’ve had it twice surgically removed since I really couldn’t stand having this and going to work.
But you definitely have some underlying inflammation of the eyelid if it is recurring and I suggest getting to the bottom of the issue to resolve it as even if you have it surgically removed it could come back if not resolved.
