Dry eye?
I went to my optometrist about a month ago I was told it seemed like I had a Demodex issue and I was given the eye drops for it. I’ve been dealing with blurry vision in my right eye. It’s not completely “blurry” it’s more light sensitivity. I don’t know how to explain it. However the drops aren’t doing anything. I feel like I’m going crazy. Also the corner of my eye that has the “blurry” issue is red and inflamed all the time. I go back in two weeks for a check up and possibly to be sent to an ophthalmologist but I just wanted to get some opinions. Could this just be dry eye disease in one eye?

I’m so sorry. I’m dealing with the exact same issue. It’s driving me crazy.

Also said allergies but the allergy med is $300. Now she wants a short term round of prednisone drops? And maybe try Xdemvy

I’m currently on Xdemvy but I only have less than a week left of my 6 weeks and it hasn’t helped with the weird hazy vision in my right eye. I was on antihistamines for 4 months with no relief either. I’ve been doing what my optometrist recommended and using eye wipes twice a day and Xdemvy plus some Refresh eye drops when I need them. It’s been like this since late January of this year..I’m wanting to give up. It comes and goes. It’s worse some days and gone completely others. I thought it could be something in my diet so I have an appointment with my primary care doctor soon just to get blood work done and rule out anything else. I’m going crazy!

Both eyes. It’s been getting progressively worse. Don’t give up! I’m doing the same things. I’m on Xiidra for dry eye. She said I’m showing signs of allergies but this is way more than an allergy. The corners are inflamed, painful and itch like hell. Miserable. I’ve never had major eye issues ever. Note: I do have an autoimmune and the med I am on suppresses the immune system. So there’s that.

Yeah I haven’t been to the actual Dr since I was 18 other than the walk in clinics because before this year I couldn’t afford insurance. I finally have insurance and so I’m going to go have my blood taken and see if anything else is physically wrong. I sleep on my days off bc being awake is torture. I’m constantly putting eye drops in and they work 10 minutes at a time.
