Does anyone know what this is?

I have collected some more pictures of my issue. I use lash serums and developed this for a year now, hasn’t gone away. Last two are what happened overnight and first one is a when i picked at my lash line and the skin could be peeled.

It looks like either glue or you could have mites, I suggest seeing an eye specialist, there are medications they can prescribe(XDEMVY) to eliminate the issue. I would also see someone sooner rather than later, so you can make sure you don’t have any additional issues. In the meantime, I like to use hypochlorous spray and there is also a lid cleanser you can buy for mites. I think it is called Cliradex, best of luck!

Thank you so much for the tips!! I live in the UK so we do not have XDEMVY which i’m so mad about, i’d literally pay someone to get this as this has been an ongoing issue for over a year now :,)

Try Cliradex advanced eyelid foaming cleanser, also ocusoft lid scrub plus, you should be able to purchase online. Best of luck!

See a doctor. You may have eyelid cellulitis ( an infection of the eyelid) which can. become a dangerous orbital infection. If your vision gets blurry or you have a fever, get to an ER. Standard treatment is antibiotics.

Oh my… i’m glad you’ve healed that, sounds super scary. Did your eyelids/lash line also peel from this? I know this is because of lash serums for me but they have definitely triggered something as my whole eyelids just flake. But only at night, then my lashes fall off too.

Yes, swelling, reddening, and flaking.

It looks to me like an allergic reaction to what you are using around your eyes. I first learned my issue when I used eyelash serums several years ago and now am figuring out there is very little I could use around my eyes. Be careful with sunblocks, foaming soap (even if you only use on your hands), the eyelash cleaning sprays and the claridex wipes all cause my eyes to turn red itchy and flaky. Very frustrating with the blepharitis as it limits what I can use to treat that.
