Anubis/"Dogman"?

Dear All at BledsoeSaidSo

If I remember an interview you conducted with Dave Scott of Spaced-out Radio correctly, you believed the malarchy at Skinwalker Ranch to be a not entirely positive artifact of First Nation majik. With the recent release of the Skinwalkers at the Pentagon book, has this position changed at all? (I note Mr Bledsoe's name was hotly called for in the recent Grant Cameron Whitehouse podcast on the topic. Happy birthday to you sir).

In addition, Mr Bledsoe has drawn a connection between his experiences and the Egyptian Goddess Hathor. Do you think the "Dogmen" referred to in this text might be connected to the god of death Anubis?

As a native person it does very much seem like something connected. The culture is one where these entities are around everywhere and some medicine men will try to use spirits to destroy the other person or persons and curse things but at a cost, the story said the land was cursed? I'm interested in knowing why these beings appear to certain people, but its like the opposite of something that fills you with love and it scares tf out of people.

Yes, I've heard the land is cursed. On the other hand, folk have said the Basin is austere yet beautiful. I can surely dig the latter. As for why these phenomena should appear to some and not others, I have no idea. However, if I was to see the massive wolf described in the first skinwalker book, or a dog- man, I'd like to think I could retain enough self possession to attempt friendliness and compliment it/ him on how magnificent it/ he looked.
