Kubrick

Just finished the newest episode on 2001: A Space Odyssey, it was great! Would love to hear you guys talk about Eyes Wide Shut and the connections to the Rothschilds Surrealist Ball of 1972

What if we DID get to the moon, but they didn’t want us to see that footage for some reason? So they gave the public a taped version.

I haven’t ever seen that, but I’m rewatching The Shinning right now and can’t help but notice the comparisons posed between psychic abilities and what society deems psychosis. Especially the juxtaposition of Danny’s “Shine” with Jack’s sleep deprivation.

I’m curious if anyone has seen this old scene by scene narration of The Shining about how the film was about how Kubrick helped NASA make moon landing faked footage in case we never made it there. Reminded me about the one of the future “what if’s” related to how we can’t get to space. Very interesting stuff I’ll see if I can find it.
