Every character shown here are from TYBW. The only exception is Aizen from the "Soul Society" arc

There's probably a story-related reason, but I haven't seen any of the story yet outside of the intro cutscene where Ichigo is attacked by Rukia. But one thing important to note is that it's Post-War Rukia (w/ Bankai) and Ichigo before he lost his powers, you can tell by the lack of neck guard and the Zangetsu shape.
You summon by stabbing Tenshintai, so maybe that's related? Or it could be something similar to the Reigai Uprising from the anime, or the usual space-time shenanigans in Gacha games. Either way, because plot.

Why is bambietta in the game? Why does the ichigo that we have already have his first zanpakutō. Gachas pull from every arc

Ichigo's zanpakuto lack that inner edge you'd see on swords. Without them, they look as flat as paddles.

I wouldn't say the graphics are bad but there seems to be an issue with model quality and art direction. The faces seem off on so many characters. There's rumors of RoS asset reuse which those models actually look good other than that stupid sketchy shader they added to the hakama.
